“Just a small town girl- living in a lonely world.” Part of this song does in fact ring true as I am from a town which only requires one traffic light. Although, I do not tend to take midnight trains going anywhere because I feel that would be completely irresponsible. Also, there really is no “South Detroit”.
I left the small place called Yale, Michigan in order to attend Michigan State University and begin my lifelong identity as a Spartan. That is where I now live as a student. I also make lots of coffee at my job as a barista on campus. Also, wine and cheap perfume are okay with me.
